Dental Assistant Expanded Functions

Our established and growing dental practice in Mt. Gilead, Ohio is seeking a skilled and motivated Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our team.We are looking for a dedicated professional who enjoys working closely with the doctor to provide high-quality patient care while helping maintain an efficient and productive clinical environment.This is a great opportunity for an EFDA who wants to work in a supportive practice that values teamwork, efficiency, and excellent patient care.Responsibilities• Place and finish composite restorations under doctor supervision• Place liners, bases, and bonding agents• Assist with crown, bridge, and restorative procedures• Take digital radiographs and intraoral photos• Fabricate and adjust temporary crowns and restorations• Assist with impressions, scanning, and restorative workflow• Maintain proper sterilization and infection control protocols• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for procedures• Support the doctor in delivering efficient, high-quality careQualifications• Active Ohio EFDA certification• Dental assisting experience required• Strong understanding of restorative dentistry procedures• Excellent attention to detail and clinical skills• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment• Positive attitude and strong teamwork mindsetWhat We Offer• Competitive pay based on experience• Modern technology and clinical systems• Supportive and collaborative team environment• Consistent schedule and strong patient base• Opportunity for professional growthScheduleMonday – Thursday8:00 AM – 5:00 PMLocationMt.
