Compensation Structure: Paid hourly, by miles traveled, stops made, and cases delivered. Routes: Local and regional, with early evening dispatch and overnight deliveries. Your role as a CDL-A Logistics Driver includes: Conducting pre- and post-trip inspections on your tractor-trailer and submitting the required DOT inspection report. Ensuring accuracy of bill of lading and securing keys for off-hour deliveries. Safely driving the tractor-trailer to destinations, utilizing knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skills necessary for maneuvering the vehicle. Maintaining driver logs (Manual or Peoplenet) in compliance with DOT regulations, recording delivery receipts, product temperatures, and any exceptions. Unloading the trailer and delivering products into customer premises. Performing additional tasks as assigned. What we’re looking for in a CDL-A Driver: Must be at least 21 years old. Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A) is required. At least 1 year of experience or 50,000 verifiable miles of driving a tractor-trailer. Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications. This role requires a proficient ability to read, write, and understand English to execute job-related tasks effectively and safely, including understanding instructions and safety protocols.
