Located in:Parsippany, New Jersey 07054The Physician operates in a team with other clinic healthcare providers and support staff. The Physician provides patient medical care to all age groups in an office-based, multi-specialty group practice. In addition, the Physician provides diagnostic and therapeutic medical services, while making reasonable and sound medical assessments and treatment plans.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDuties include, but are not limited to:Disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recoveryTreatment of acute illnessesTreatment of acute injuriesPrescribes and administers medications, performs routine vaccinations, and provides advice regarding personal health and hygieneRequests necessary tests and follow-up visits and refers patients to specialists, as necessaryFamiliar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular fieldRelies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goalsPerforms a variety of tasksA wide degree of creativity and latitude is expectedProvides direction to both clinical and reception support staffProper and complete medical documentation (without copy/paste) for all patient care in order to assure accuracy (above 80% with goal of 95%) of E/M coding - and closing/sign off after review of all patient charts in accordance with company policies. Failure to meet this essential job function can affect the eligibility for VBC bonusesPerforms miscellaneous job-related duties as assignedQualifications or Education, Training and ExperienceDoctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)Licensed in the state of New JerseyBoard certified or Board eligibleCompletion of an accredited residency program in area of practice (i.e., family practice, internal medicine, or pediatrics)DEA controlled substances registrationBasic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CPR/AED) certificationSuccessful completion of CHC's credentialing and privileging review upon hire and recredentialing as appropriateStrong computer skills with prior electronic medical record (EMR) use preferredStrong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, hospital personnel and community membersSkills to perform patient treatment procedures for most acute illnesses or injuriesRemains calm and effective in high pressure and emergency situationsThe compensation range for this position is $225,000-$350,000. Compensation is based on level and requirements of the role, as well as percent of net collections.
