Site Leader

Laars Heating Systems is seeking a Site Leader for our Electro Industries facility in Monticello, MN who will be responsible for a broad array of functional areas including Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance, Human Resources, Fulfillment, Marketing, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Warehousing, Transportation and Distribution. As a key member of the leadership team, the role is responsible for leading major strategic initiatives, recommending & implementing changes to grow the business. Duties and Responsibilities: Strategic Business and Customer Management Making and executing strategic decisions and tactics that ensure we remain supplier of choice to our customers by instilling a culture of delivering a quality product on time, every time and superior customer service. Developing supportive working relationships with Sales Managers, other General Managers, and leadership within the organization. P&L Ownership Developing and administering budgets, controlling monthly P&L results, and formulating action plans to address variances and gaps. Achieving annual profitability goals. Operational Development and Implementation Developing and implementing an operational plan for the business that addresses: staff development issues, safety, operational excellence, quality improvement, financial performance, delivery, and quality of service. Manufacturing focus and continuous improvement. Lean / Six Sigma methodologies to achieve operational excellence in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost Creating and driving a culture of learning, innovation, mentoring, coaching, succession planning, reward, recognition, respect, and professionalism. Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business required, master's degree preferred Minimum of 10 years of related experience Skills: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams. A proven skill set demonstrating effective communication, planning and organization, and sound judgement. Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in budget management and cost control within a manufacturing environment preferred.
