SummaryThe Claims Recovery Analyst - On-site Montgomery, AL supports Gainwell's mission by assessing, quantifying, and validating recoverable losses associated with insurance claims involving third-party liability. This role plays a key part in the subrogation process by delivering accurate claim valuations, thorough documentation, and analytical support to maximize recovery outcomes while ensuring compliance with policy provisions, legal standards, and internal guidelines.Your role in our missionReview claim files to identify subrogation opportunities and confirm third-party liabilityAssess and value medical claims in accordance with applicable policy coverage and program requirementsAnalyze claim reports, medical records, and loss documentation to support valuation decisionsPrepare detailed and well-supported valuation reports for subrogation demands and recovery effortsValidate claim quantum for negotiation, mediation, arbitration, or litigation supportEnsure all valuations are complete, accurate, and supported by appropriate documentationCollaborate closely with recovery managers, call center teams, intake personnel, and internal stakeholdersSupport timely, compliant claim processing aligned with Gainwell standards and client expectationsWhat we're looking for2-5 years of experience in claims handling, loss adjusting, valuation, or subrogationStrong understanding of insurance policies, recoveries, and subrogation principlesExperience valuing medical or medical-related claimsStrong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracyProficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to document and analyze claim informationWhat you should expect in this roleOnsite position based in Montgomery, AlabamaMonday through Friday, standard business hours 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMVideo cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation.Collaborative work environment with internal claims teams and external legal partnerThe deadline to submit applications for this posting is February 28, 2026.LI-ONSITE #LI-JA1 #LI-CM1The pay range for this position is $32,700.00 - $46,700.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
