CAREER-TECHNICAL EDUCATION SPECIALIST

This is a Open Competitive recruitment to create an eligibility list for current and future vacancies. Successful candidates are expected to work eight (8) hours a day, five (5) days a week, and eleven (11) months per school year. Duration of eligibility list:Successful candidates will be placed on the eligibility list that will remain valid for six months from the date of approval by the Personnel Commission. GENERAL PURPOSE Under general supervision of the Career Technical Education Coordinator, performs career-technical education, career planning, and job placement in the operation of a student career-technical education program career center; and performs related duties as assigned. DISTINGUSHING CHARACTERISTICS A Career-Technical Education Specialist performs non-supervisory career-technical education program support and administrative duties within a career-technical education center.
