Bridgeview Community Mental Health Center invites licensed and provisionally licensed clinicians to join our clinical community as independent contractors, where you can focus on quality care while benefiting from established infrastructure, referrals, and professional collaboration.Benefits1099 independent contractors do not qualify for any benefits of any kind.CompensationThis is a 1099 independent contractor role. OverviewIndependent Contractor Therapists provide outpatient mental health services to children, adolescents, and/or adults.Clinical ServicesConduct mental health evaluations and establish diagnosesDevelop and implement individualized treatment plansProvide evidence-based therapeutic interventionsComplete discharge planning and clinical summaries CCollaboration & CoordinationCoordinate care with families, schools, medical providers, case managers, and community resourcesSupport continuity of care and appropriate transitionsDocumentation & ComplianceMaintain timely, accurate clinical documentation using the agency's EHRAdhere to legal, ethical, and professional standards, as well as documentation requirements associated with insurance and regulatory guidelinesRequirementsRequirements for an Outpatient Mental Health Therapist:Education & Licensure• Therapist I o Master's degree in a mental health field (psychology, counseling, psychiatric nursing, social work, etc.).o Current, unrestricted initial license (tLMHC, LMSW, LPC, LSW) in Iowa or Illinois, depending on work location.• Therapist II o Master's degree in a mental health field (psychology, counseling, psychiatric nursing, social work, etc.).o Current, unrestricted independent license (LISW, LMHC, LCPC, LCSW) in Iowa or Illinois, depending on work location.Experience & Skills• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and ability to learn other software.• Ability to physically attend to children in moments of difficulty.Bethany for Children & Families is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
