Medical Records Specialist - FT - Modesto Radiology Imaging

BASIC FUNCTION The employee rotation and the job assignment within the rotation will determine the Basic Function of the position the employee is presently performing. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES * Principal accountabilities will change, depending on the employee rotation and the job assignment within the rotation. * Assumes responsibility for continually striving to meet goals as established by Modesto Radiology Imaging. We share a commitment to the patient, to the Radiologists, to the Company, and to each other to strive toward the overall company goals that have been established. * Predictable attendance and promptness in reporting to work and returning from breaks and meal breaks is expected. * Other duties as may be assigned. Shift: Days Hours: 8 am to 5pm Wage range: $24 - $25 per hour Required Skills: * Basic typing skills. * Basic computer skills. * Ability to follow oral and written instructions. * Ability to establish and maintain behavior that is courteous and professional in working with Radiologists, coworkers, patients, and referring physicians. * Ability to work on several projects simultaneously. * Ability to file both numerically and alphabetically.
