MEAT CLERK (PART-TIME)

Job Summary:The Meat Clerk supports the Meat Department by assisting customers, stocking and rotating product, and maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards. This role helps ensure fresh, high-quality meat products and excellent customer service.Responsibilities:Assist customers with meat selections and questionsStock, rotate, and display meat products properlyWrap, label, and price products accuratelyMaintain cleanliness of meat cases, work areas, and equipmentFollow food safety, sanitation, and safety guidelinesAssist with inventory and receiving deliveries as neededQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent preferredGrocery, meat, or food service experience a plusStrong customer service skillsAbility to work in cold environmentsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsFlexible availability, including weekends and holidaysWork Environment:Fast-paced grocery setting with exposure to refrigerated areas and meat-handling equipment.Qualifications:Food Safety MindsetCustomer ServiceRequirements:Must be able to lift 25lbs oftenWeekend and night availabilityMust be able to lift 50lbs regularlyMust be able to lift 100lbs with team lifting
