CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANTJoin our Medical Surgical Team at Moab Regional Hospital!You are an essential part of the care team for our in-patients. Working under the supervision of Registered Nurses, our CNAs provide a variety of care services to patients ranging from newborn to geriatric, with a wide range of acuities and needs. This is an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development for someone looking to expand their skill set! This is an hourly non-exempt, full-time, benefitted position.Anticipated schedule: 32-40 hours/week, day and night shifts.Starting pay range: $20 - $25.60/hour, DOE.Preferred Experience: Current CNA or EMT license in the State of Utah, or prior work experience in similar role in a medical setting.Minimum Qualifications: Current BLS certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire. Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) with clinical and non-clinical individuals. Must be effective both as part of a team and while working independently. Must possess strong critical thinking skills and able to respond quickly when situations change unexpectedly. Must have working knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English. Ability to work in a confidential manner. Reliable and timely with work schedule. Flexible and willing to accept other duties as assigned.Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand, walk, communicate, reach and manipulate objects, tools, or controls for duration of shift (up to 12 hours at a time). Manual dexterity and coordination are required over 50% of the time while on duty.
