Human Resources CoordinatorPerm- $50k-$60kOnsite in Minneapolis, MNPosition OverviewThe Human Resources Coordinator supports day-to-day HR operations, payroll coordination, and recruiting/onboarding activities. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The HR Coordinator partners closely with leadership, payroll, recruiting, and employees to ensure accurate records, compliance, and a positive employee experience.Key ResponsibilitiesHR Operations & ComplianceMaintain company organizational charts and employee directoryMaintain and update employee personnel filesProcess new hire, termination, and employee status change documentationEnsure I-9 compliance and employment verificationMaintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulationsAssist with HR reporting, audits, and annual HR processesSupport HR projects as neededPerform other duties and tasks as assignedPayroll & TimekeepingPartner with managers and Payroll to review and process weekly timecard closingsPartner with Payroll Specialist to ensure timecard accuracy and payroll complianceTrain employees on timecard entry as neededHRIS & BenefitsMaintain and update Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)Support HRIS processes and data accuracyAssist with benefits enrollment and support the annual open enrollment processRecruiting & Onboarding SupportAssist recruiting coordinator with hiring activities for open positionsCollaborate with managers to understand job requirements and competenciesCreate and coordinate new hire orientation schedulesInitiate electronic new hire paperwork and onboarding workflowsCommunicate firm policies and procedures during onboarding and administrative orientationsSet up employee accounts in HRIS and systems to ensure a successful first dayRequired Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailStrong proofreading, editing, and grammar skillsProfessional demeanor with strong interpersonal skillsAbility to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organizationStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasksAbility to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a sense of urgencyAdaptable, flexible, and comfortable in a fast-paced environmentAbility to manage frequent interruptions and shifting prioritiesWillingness to work additional hours beyond a standard 37.5-hour workweek as neededRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field OR equivalent HR experienceStrong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Experience working with HRIS platformsExceptional attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in all work producedAbility to organize, prioritize, and complete assignments efficiently in a dynamic environmentBenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
