This position offers a primary focus on thoracic oncology, with flexibility to care for additional solid tumor populations based on physician interest and program needs. Accredited by ACS, CoC, NAPBC, and APEx Practice Highlights: Full-time Thoracic Medical Oncology position with inpatient and outpatient responsibilities Primary practice location at Abbott Northwestern Hospital, serving as a metro hub Established team of 9 oncologists and 9 advanced practice providers Thoracic surgeons and radiation oncologists co-located in the same clinic. Whole patient centered care with a variety of services, including nurse navigation, social work, mental health services, patient financial navigators, palliative care, and integrative medicine Opportunities for education and teaching with internal medicine residents through didactic and clinical experiences Job Requirements: MD, DO, or foreign equivalency training required. Graduate of an accredited ACGME Hematology/Oncology fellowship training program required. BE/BC with ABMS or AOA required. Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain) Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI) Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for credentialing and hospital privileges About Allina Health: A major regional health system.
