Senior Accountant

Senior AccountantLocation: Plymouth, MN [Hybrid]We are seeking a Senior Accountant for one of our longstanding manufacturing clients based in the NW metro. This person will work alongside the Controller supporting the day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and analysis for one of the businesses largest entities. ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAPPerform financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and potential issuesSupport month-end and year-end close activitiesAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisContribute to process improvements related to accounting, reporting, and controlsAssist with audit preparation, including schedules and supporting documentationProvide support on special projects and ad hoc requests as neededQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field4-7 years of progressive accounting or finance experienceStrong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principlesStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsClear communication skills and ability to work collaborativelyPreferredExperience in a multi-entity or complex accounting environmentCPA or progress toward CPACompensation: $80,000-$105,000Employment Type: Full Time Direct Hire, HybridBenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
