Extension is seeking a Senior Accountant for a contract to hire opportunity with one of our clients located in Milwaukee, WI.About Our ClientWell established organization that has won Top Workplace awards!Great culture!Close-knit and supportive team!Key Objectives / Role ResponsibilitiesLead and support the month-end close process including journal entries, reconciliations, general ledger analysis, and preparation of financial statements/reportsAssist with annual budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and board-level financial reporting preparationAnalyze financial data to identify trends, recognize problems, and recommend improvementsMonitor capital projects in ERP, verify proper account coding, and maintain fixed assetsSupport audit preparation, sales tax filings, fixed asset accounting, and other compliance-related accounting activitiesDesired Skills & QualificationsBachelors in Accounting or Finance3+ years of accounting experienceExperience in hospitality or non-profit is a plus
