Automotive Service Technician

Murray Motors Milton is looking for an Automotive Service Technician to join our team The right candidate will have a strong service technician background. The day-to-day duties include performing work on specific repair orders and diagnosing what repairs need to be done. Responsibilities:Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealershipTest-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipmentDiagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.Perform basic vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, municate directly with the Service Manager so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairsQualifications:1+ years of Service Technician experience preferredHigh school diploma or equivalentMust have PA Automobile Inspection LicenseMechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipmentExcellent customer service skills and basic computer competenciesPositive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improveEnjoy working in a dynamic environmentTeammate with ability to collaborate with others effectivelyAbility to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specificationsOwn your own basic mechanics toolsValid driver's license and clean driving recordBenefits:Health, Medical and Dental401K PlanPaid vacation timeGrowth opportunitiesEmployee discounts on parts, service, and vehicles
