In support of their needs, we are looking for a Wafer Manufacturing Technician.Job Description:Job Title: Wafer Manufacturing TechnicianJob Type: ContractJob Location: Milpitas, CAWork Schedule: On-sitePay Rate: $38, Based on experienceDescription:Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment.Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.Works with engineers in conducting experiments.Role Overview Looking for Senior Technician - semiconductor environment (wafers, fab equipment, wafer handling and tools)Working with all the equipment and wafer handling (8 inch or 12 inch - standard size)100% cleanroom - must have prior experience working in cleanroom •Deposition of films onto wafers (training provided).Good understanding of how to follow instructions, how to deposit films onto wafers, how to program the equipment itselfAble to work with minimal supervision, high attention to detail, meticulousMaking corrections/troubleshooting - when the specifications doesn't come in - Basic Maths and Excel (MUST HAVE)Understand the process and procedures - able to read and follow the procedures - able to explain the proceduresNote Taking - able to understand and take notes during trainingMust have at least 60% qualifications from the job descriptionTop Daily Responsibilities:Required to work hands-on the deposition of material using tools and work instructions.Required to work hands-on the lab equipment and configure the modules to the requested customer configuration.Create, revise, update all documents pertaining to the product.By ensuring accuracy with process, tooling, equipment, safety, etc.Daily Responsibilities:A good understanding of Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical systemsUnderstand beginning to end process flow/knowledgeAbility to troubleshoot equipment or process errorsAbility to adjust equipment to achieve desired requirementsPerform necessary calculations and input precise dataDemonstrate high attention to detailWorks on assignments requiring considerable judgement and initiativeUnderstands implication of work and makes recommendations for solutionsAbility to work efficiently and effectively, utilizing time wiselyAbility to work under frequency changing priorities and deadlinesAbility to take daily notes on production processAbility to work both autonomously and as part of a teamPlan work and execute plans in a safe, sensible, and timely mannerPeriodically lifting of material is expectedFollow all company process and proceduresRequire daily clean room protocolFollow all company policies and procedures relating to quality management standards, such as ISORequire meticulous and precise manual dexterity handling wafersRequired Skills/Experience/QualificationAssociate degree or equivalent technical trainingAccumulated 5 or more years of manufacturing-related experience preferredClean room requiredKnowledge of ESD practicesAbility to read and follow assembly documents in their entirelyStrong communication skills (verbal and written)Familiarity with hand and machine toolsExcellent troubleshooting skillsAbility to lift +/- 25 lbs.
