Reach Truck Operator Join our team as a Reach Truck Operator in a brand new distribution warehouse in Mickleton, NJ, working with a global leader in food and beverage ingredients. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow within the company and make a significant impact in a cutting-edge facility. 1st Shift: Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with flexibility to work until 6:30 PM as needed 2nd Shift: Monday to Friday from 3:30 PM to Midnight Responsibilities Operate a Reach Truck and sit-down forklift machine. Pick orders accurately and efficiently. Utilize RF scanning equipment to ensure inventory accuracy. Manage and process pick ticket orders. Retrieve warehouse items based on number, size, and quantity. Ensure that orders are staged correctly for delivery. Read and process incoming order requests. Adhere to quality and customer service standards. Pick, wrap, and stage orders for shipment. Inspect and maintain forklifts and other material handling equipment. Identify safety hazards in the workplace. Consolidate partial pallets for incoming goods. Perform other duties as needed. Essential Skills Minimum 1+ years' experience operating powered forklifts. Proficient in math. Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of OSHA regulations. High regard for workplace safety. Able to lift 50 pounds with or without accommodations. Must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and comply with all safety policies. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with various material-handling equipment. Familiarity with loading, unloading, order picking, palletizing, and stacking. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with flexibility to work until 6:30 PM as needed. The warehouse handles spices and coconut water, and although nothing is manufactured here, there is a noticeable spice smell. Employees are required to wear steel toe boots, work pants, and tops without graphics or writing. The facility is not temperature controlled, so please dress accordingly. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mickleton, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
