Job Title: Live-In Nanny (Travel Required)Position Type: Full-Time, Live-In Schedule: 7am - 7pm with flexibility; primarily weekdays with some weekend coverage Location: Private Residence (Summer in the Hamptons) Children: Two boys, ages 5 and 11 Pets: NoneCompensation: $32 - $35/hour DOE Position OverviewA busy, professional family is seeking a reliable, flexible, and experienced Live-In Nanny to provide attentive care for their two school-aged boys (ages 5 and 11). Both parents work in and outside of the home and are looking for a dependable caregiver who can manage the children's daily routines, support their development, and assist with after-school logistics.The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and nurturing, with the ability to adapt to a dynamic family schedule. A valid driver's license, clean driving record, and valid passport are required, as travel with the family will be expected.The family spends summers in the Hamptons, and the nanny will have the opportunity to join them during this time. This is not a deal breaker but a huge plus if you can! Key Responsibilities Begin the day at 7:00 AM to assist the children with their morning routine, including breakfast and preparation for school Support a smooth school departure (mother handles school drop-off) Pick up the children from school in the afternoon Safely transport the children to after-school activities, sports, and playdates Supervise homework and provide academic support as needed Assist with preparing or serving dinner for the children Maintain structure and ensure age-appropriate routines Travel with the family as needed (domestic and/or international) Reside with the family during the summer months in the Hamptons, when applicable Maintain flexibility to accommodate schedule changes, including weekday and some weekend coverage (not all weekends required) Qualifications Prior professional childcare experience with school-aged children Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Valid passport and willingness to travel with the family Flexible schedule, including availability for occasional weekends Organized, dependable, and punctual Strong communication skills Ability to manage multiple children with different developmental needs Professional, discreet, and respectful of family privacy Compensation & Living Arrangements Live-in accommodations provided Competitive compensation package, commensurate with experience Additional details to be discussed during the interview process
