Forklift Operator

Snelling is seeking reliable and experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operators to join our growing team in Mesquite, TX. This is a 3nd shift position. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in warehouse operations, material handling, and inventory processes. WMS and SAP. Candidate must operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse and production areas; Use an electric pallet jack for transporting goods. Shift: 2nd Shift | 6pm-6am on rotation Pay Rate: $22- 23.00hr Key Responsibilities: Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse and production areas Use an electric pallet jack for transporting goods as required Perform inventory and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels Utilize RF scanners for inbound and outbound tracking of materials Load and unload trailers and containers Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety initiatives Assist with other warehouse and production duties as assigned Qualifications: Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating a sit-down forklift Proficient with electric pallet jacks Experience with inventory management, cycle counting, and RF scanning systems Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods Reliable transportation and consistent attendance Ability to pass a forklift evaluation and pre-employment screening Our Commitment to Fair Hiring: HireQuest does not discriminate on the basis of Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or other legally protected group status in making hiring or employment decisions.
