The officer will conduct both walking and driving patrols between three buildings on site using a company vehicle provided by the client. This position requires strong observation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct routine foot and vehicle patrols between three designated buildings on the property.Use the company-provided vehicle to perform scheduled and random security rounds.Monitor the premises for suspicious activity, safety hazards, or security breaches.Ensure doors, gates, and access points are properly secured.Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergency situations.Provide a visible security presence to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in security logs and reports.Communicate effectively with supervisors, site staff, and emergency services when necessary.Enforce site rules, policies, and safety procedures.RequirementsValid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required).Ability to safely operate a company-provided vehicle.Previous security, law enforcement, or related experience preferred but not required.Strong observation and communication skills.Ability to walk and stand for extended periods while conducting patrols.Ability to work independently and remain alert during shifts.Basic report writing and documentation skills.Must pass a background check and any required security licensing requirements.Work Environment & Physical RequirementsRegular walking and driving patrols between multiple buildings.Driving patrols are conducted using a company vehicle.Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.Qualifications:18 years of age or olderFamiliarity with security equipmentStrong attention to detailMust be responsible and dependableMust possess the values important to Per Mar Security – Integrity, Communication, Excellent Service, and Accountability.Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.  Must not have any felonies.Must be able to obtain a DSPS Private Security Person license.Per Mar is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer
