Medical Assistant - Merrick, Long IslandWe're looking for an experienced, self-sufficient MA to join our private practice team in Merrick, Long IslandWhat You'll DoRoom patients, record vitals, and document chief complaints in EMRAssist providers with procedures, injections, wound care, and EKGsAdminister medications and vaccinations per provider ordersHandle phlebotomy, lab specimen prep, and result follow-upManage referrals, prior authorizations, and prescription refillsTriage patient calls and portal messagesMentor junior MA staff and help keep clinic flow running smoothlyPerform other duties as assigned by the providerWhat We're Looking For3+ years of clinical MA experience in an outpatient or private practice settingCMA (AAMA) or RMA (AMT) certification preferredComfortable working independently in a fast-paced environmentBLS/CPR certifiedProficiency with EMR SystemsCompensation: $25-$35/hr based on experience
