You’ll support Pharmacists and the Inventory Manager with daily inventory activities and maintaining optimal stock levels. This role plays an important role in ensuring medication availability and operational efficiency, with collaboration across pharmacy operations and client representatives.SHIFT: Wednesday - Saturday, 9:00am-7:30pm with occasional overtimeResponsibilities:Performs any combination of following duties to assist Pharmacist in Central Fill Pharmacy:Receives and stores incoming suppliesAssists in stocking shelves and maintaining inventoryCounts stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory recordsReplenishes product for sorting and fillingPulls any short-dated/expiring/recalled inventory as neededConducts product returns to distribution centersAssists with dispenser troubleshootingPerforms manual entry and picking when neededRuns automated sorting and counting equipmentFills bottles and cells with prescribed tablets and capsulesApplies labels to bottles and performs verificationAssists Pharmacist to prepare and dispense medicationPerforms other duties as needed to achieve inventory team goalsHigher level technicians may have the following additional duties:Set up new drugs for dispensingWork closely with client representatives to ensure the uninterrupted provision of consignment medications for our patientsDevelop SOPs and Work Instructions inventory processesMinimum Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent, and must have a currently active Tennessee Pharmacy Technician LicenseMinimum 1-year of previous Pharmacy Technician exp; Warehouse experience is preferredNational Certificate through PTCB or ExCPT preferredWe are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
