Job#: 3022487 Job Description: * This position will be supporting either an A side (front half of the week) or B Side shift (back half of the week) alternating between 36 and 48 hrs/ week, shifts are 6a-6p. * This position is 100% on site * Hourly Rate will vary based on qualifications and experience ranging from $25-$30.65/hr Position Summary The Circular Center Technician is responsible for supporting daily operations within the Circular Center by processing, refurbishing, repairing, and preparing devices and equipment for reuse. This role ensures materials are handled efficiently, safely, and in alignment with sustainability and compliance standards. Team members provide advanced technical support, assist with troubleshooting, and help maintain workflow quality. Key Responsibilities * Perform intermediate‑level diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair on Microsoft devices and IT equipment. * Inspect, test, and validate equipment for reuse, redeployment, or responsible recycling. * Accurately log inventory, device status, and repair actions in systems. * Support incoming and outgoing equipment workflows, including sorting, asset tagging, and data sanitization tasks. * Ensure all processes follow safety guidelines, security procedures, and sustainability policies. * Collaborate with team members by providing guidance, answering technical questions, and assisting with training as needed. * Maintain workstation organization, cleanliness, and adherence to process standards. * Identify process improvements and escalate issues impacting equipment quality or productivity. Qualifications Required: * 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse, technical repair, IT asset disposition, or related operations role * Basic to intermediate technical troubleshooting skills * Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 25 lbs) * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized procedures Preferred: * Experience working with laptops, desktops, or peripherals * Familiarity with inventory or asset management tools * Previous work in a sustainability, recycling, or refurbishment environment Skills * Technical aptitude and problem‑solving * Time management and ability to meet productivity targets * Strong communication and teamwork * Commitment to safety and process discipline Apex Systems is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
