Job Requirements This opportunity is open exclusively to active-duty service members who are eligible for the DOW SkillBridge Program. Launch Your HR Career with Health First on Florida's Space Coast! Health First is offering a unique 11 week ontheJob Training (OJT) opportunity to train within our Human Resources department. This rotational program allows you to explore multiple HR specialties while contributing to meaningful work that supports our associates and our mission. Participants will gain handson experience across several key areas, including: Talent Acquisition Workforce Solutions Associate Development Onboarding Ask HR Leadership Development HR Generalist HR Business Partner If you're eager to learn, ready to collaborate, and excited to build a strong foundation in Human Resources, we'd love to welcome you to the Health First team. Work Experience MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Must currently be an active service member and eligible to participate in the DOW SkillBridge Program Excellent human relations/problem-solving/conflict resolution skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exemplify standards of integrity Proficient in Microsoft Office Strong organizational skills and time management to perform multiple tasks with varying priorities. Demonstrate a high degree of attention to detail. Ability to effectively communicate with associates and hiring managers alike by listening, understanding, and conveying guidance using written and verbal communication skills Provide a positive experience through responsiveness, professionalism, and empathy PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Majority of time involves sitting or standing; occasional walking, bending, and stooping. Long periods of computer time or at workstation. Light work that may include lifting or moving objects up to 20 pounds with or without assistance. May be exposed to inside environments with varied temperatures, air quality, lighting and/or low to moderate noise. Communicating with others to exchange information. Visual acuity and hand-eye coordination to perform tasks. Workspace may vary from open to confined. May require travel to various facilities within and beyond county perimeter; may require use of personal vehicle.
