Senior Service Design Engineer

Our client, a leader in the medical device industry, is seeking a dedicated and innovative Senior Service Design Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Service Design Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Engineering Department supporting global service teams. Job Title: Senior Service Design Engineer Location:Medina, NY Pay Range:$55 - $60 per hour What's the Job? Apply engineering principles to develop and enhance products and processes throughout their lifecycle. Create service deliverables, including manuals, test equipment, and spare parts, to support product launches and ongoing maintenance. Design machine tooling, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and equipment used in servicing medical devices. Evaluate product designs for serviceability and recommend improvements to support repair and refurbishment efforts. Collaborate with design teams to select and implement new technologies across development programs. What's Needed? Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, software, systems, or manufacturing/process engineering. 3-5 years of experience in engineering, preferably within the medical device or regulated industries. Strong understanding of core engineering disciplines and problem-solving methodologies. Experience with change control, configuration management, and quality system requirements.
