HVAC Technician An HVAC Technician (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technician) is a skilled tradesperson who installs, maintains, and repairs systems that control temperature, humidity, and air quality in buildings. Responsibilities Install new HVAC units in homes, offices, or industrial buildings Perform routine maintenance to keep systems running efficiently Troubleshoot and fix issues like broken parts, leaks, or wiring problems Ensure systems meet safety and environmental standards (like refrigerant handling) Qualifications and Skills HVAC certification (e.g., EPA 608) 2+ years of HVAC experience Valid driver's license Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied environments Mechanical and electrical knowledge Problem-solving and diagnostics Understanding of HVAC codes and regulations Physical stamina and attention to detail Benefits/Compensation Full Time Pay rate is $17/hr depending on experience 1st Shift Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts Benefits available while employed through Career Concepts Temp-To-Hire Benefits available after probation Location Meadville, PA 16335 About Career Concepts Staffing Services, Inc.
