This role involves hauling fruits and vegetables to various customers including Food Lion, Harris Teeter, and local grocery stores. Pay & Schedule Details Pay Rate: $25 per hour Overtime: Available after 40 hours Schedule: Monday to Saturday, with possible day off during the week Dispatch Time: Between 4 AM and 7 AM, average dispatch at 5 AM Job Details Route Type: Local Freight: Touch freight (fruits and vegetables) Equipment: Manual transmission truck Handling: Unloading with pallet jack; approximately half of pallets will need to be broken down into multiple orders Stops: 5 to 10 stops per day Key Responsibilities Obtain signed BOL/invoices at deliveries and pickups Handle cash for COD customers and return it to the office Deliver to locations in Virginia, North Carolina, West Virginia, Eastern Tennessee, and Eastern Kentucky Minimum Requirements 3+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years) Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements Benefits Long-term flexible employment Opportunity for temp-to-hire based on performance Why Work With Us Join our team and enjoy the benefits of working with a supportive employer who values your contributions.
