Used Truck Sales Representative

Position Summary:Under the supervision of the Used Truck Sales Manager, the Used Truck Salesman is responsible for selling used equipment, revenue generation, and achieving customer satisfaction.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for the sale of used trucks of all varieties in stock. Trucks include a variety of used commercial vehicles including conventional trucks, Freightliner trucks, heavy duty trucks, medium duty trucks, day cab trucks, class 8 highway trucks and commercial truck tractors. Develops a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face-to-face cold calling on business owners, direct mail, e-mail and networking. Maintains detailed and accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities. Gathers and submits detailed business information for pricing and presents solutions to identified prospects. Able to write accurate used truck appraisals. Required skills.Knowledge in the heavy truck-equipment industryStrong written and verbal communication skillsGood organizational and time management skillsHigh energy level, self-starting and highly motivatedDriver's license in good standingHelps to maintain the Used Truck lot. Other duties as assigned
