Senior Payroll SpecialistCherry Bekaert is partnering with a technology-driven organization to identify a Lead Payroll Accountant. This is a direct hire opportunity supporting a rapidly scaling business with expanding domestic and international operations.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and execute end-to-end payroll processing across multiple payroll cycles and entitiesSupport payroll operations for a growing, multi-country employee baseEnsure compliance with federal, state, and international payroll regulationsPartner with the Controller on payroll accounting, reporting, and reconciliationsCollaborate with HR and Sales Operations on employee data, compensation, and commissionsProvide backup support for Accounts Payable and other accounting functions as neededDrive process improvements and help build scalable payroll workflowsMaintain accuracy and efficiency within payroll systems (Rippling or similar)Qualifications3-6+ years of payroll and/or accounting experienceExperience in multi-entity and/or multi-state payroll environments (international exposure is a plus)Background in accounting, payroll accounting, or financial operationsExposure to sales compensation/commissions analysis and/or accounts payable preferredExperience with Rippling, ADP, UKG, or similar payroll systemsStrong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesComfortable in a high-growth, evolving environment (hands-on, adaptable, proactive)Why This RoleEarly-impact hire within a lean, scaling accounting teamDirect visibility to the Controller and executive leadershipOpportunity to build and improve payroll processes in a high-growth environmentBroad exposure across Accounting, HR, and Sales Operations
