The Associate HR Business Partner, HRIS & Compliance serves as a core operational partner to the field teams, supporting a multi-state, highly regulated workforce. This role owns the accuracy, timeliness, and execution of HR systems, employee life-cycle events, compliance-driven processes, and frontline HR support. This role ensures that HR data, employee documentation, leave management, investigations, onboarding, and compliance workflows are executed with precision, while partnering with managers and leadership to support employee relations, accountability, and engagement. HR Systems, Data & Compliance Own the execution and integrity of employee records and HRIS systems including Wurk, SharePoint, and related platforms Process and audit all employee life-cycle transactions including hires, promotions, pay changes, leaves, and terminations Maintain compliant personnel files and ensure timely completion of required documentation Manage New Jersey badging, system access, distribution lists, and onboarding credentials Support HR reporting, audits, and state-requested compliance documentation Work with all team members to ensure their email and system access is active and compliant Leave, ADA & Employment Compliance Work with benefits and payroll to coordinate team member leave of absences Initiate, track, and manage ADA accommodation requests, including documentation, manager communication, and response letters Ensure proper coding, PAF submission, and system tracking of all leaves, accommodations, and returns to work Maintain confidential, compliant files and documentation Employee Relations & HRBP Support Conduct and support investigations for employee relations matters in NJ and PA Draft and issue coaching, disciplinary actions, and performance documentation in partnership with managers Support unemployment claims, workers compensation coordination, and return-to-work processes Serve as a frontline HR contact through the HR inbox, triaging and escalating issues appropriately Onboarding, Training & Engagement Lead new hire orientation sessions company-wide Ensure completion of onboarding, compliance training, and required certifications Manage 30-60-90 day check-ins to support engagement and retention Support exit interviews and offboarding processes Personnel Action & Workforce Changes Process and track all company-wide PAFs including promotions, pay changes, and terminations Coordinate with Payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing Manage termination workflows including system access, state notices, and discount removal Assist with employee relations by addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and maintaining a positive work environment. Work with field team to ensure all PAF forms are completed appropriately and submitted timely Oversee effective orientation, onboarding & training to drive engagement and retention. Ensures and facilitates effective communication to all team members. Assists with creating and implementing disciplinary action, performance improvement initiatives and terminations. Other duties may be assigned to meet departmental and company needs. This is a hands-on busy role. In-office role. Some travel may be required. Must Haves: Education and Experience Bachelors degree in HR or related field; equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree. 3+ years of experience in human resources 2+ years of experience with ADA and Labor Law Compliance Time management skills also, ability to work under pressure & managing a changing workload Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate with tact and diplomacy. Effective at capturing and synthesizing information from multiple parties Solid and hands-on understanding of human resources practices to include leave of absence laws. Ability to handle sensitive and highly personal information daily and maintain confidentiality in a mature and insightful manner.
