What We OfferNovant Health is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join a well-established, high-volume bariatric program in the Greater Charlotte area. This role will primarily serve both surgical and non-surgical bariatric patients in Matthews, with on-call support across three Charlotte-area facilities.Working closely with our physicians, the APP will play an integral role in delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care. Our program takes a multidisciplinary approach to lifelong weight management, offering patients nutritional guidance, psychological support, and exercise education throughout every stage of their journey.We are looking for a compassionate, patient-focused provider who is dedicated to the medical and surgical management of obesity. Either a graduate of an NCCPA accredited physician assistant program, or NP or post Master's NP program required. Experience: Open to new and experienced candidates Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current PA or NP license in appropriate state required. NCCPA or registry with state nursing board, ACLS, DEA registry required. Additional Skills Required: Ability to successfully complete generic and depart-specific skills validation and competency testing; Thorough knowledge of diagnosis, and pharmacology; Thorough skill in physical assessment and management of chronic illness; Communication skills, both verbal and written; general computer knowledge is preferred; ability to work independently, yet in collaboration when necessary.
