Objectives of this roleSupport strategy execution for logistics and warehousingAcquire rates for our CSR s pursuant to the needs of the specific PO.Maintain awareness of industry and global logistics trends that will benefit company in the marketplaceResponsibilitiesIdentifying issues and actions to be taken, if problems ariseConduct root-cause analysis of failures and take corrective actionsReport regularly to senior managers about progress, plans, and problems that could affect costs.Manage compliance, quality control, and quality assurance standards and specificationsRequired skills and qualificationsThree or more years of experience in logistics for wholesale distribution.Four or more years of experience in project management or a leadership positionStrong systems skills, including proficiency with integrated software applicationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPreferred skills and qualificationsBachelor s degree (or equivalent) in business administration, with focus on supply-chain managementKnowledge of end-to-end logistics operations (including maritime, over-the-road, rail, customs, and warehousing)
