Restaurant Manager

Blue Dog Hospitality, the innovators behind The Deauville Inn and Yesterday's Creekside Tavern, is looking for experienced, like-minded leaders to help us open and manage our newest concept, Inky's Cantina + Taqueria! The Restaurant Manager responsibilities include maintaining the restaurant's revenue, profitability and quality goals. Ensuring efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. To be successful in this role, you'll need management skills and experience in both front and back of the house. Experience in a high-volume establishment is a must. We're looking for a strong leader that will be positive and uplifting in stressful & fast-paced work environments. This is a seasonal management position.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operationsConduct daily pre-shift meetings delivering valuable information in an upbeat wayEnsure accurate scheduling of your department to maximize service and minimize expenseDeliver superior service and maximize customer satisfactionRespond efficiently and accurately to customer complaintsOrganize and supervise shiftsAppraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivityEnsure compliance with sanitation and safety regulationsControl operational costs and identify measures to cut wastePromote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant eventsTrain new and current employees on proper customer service practicesImplement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operationsSkillsProven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar roleProven customer service experience as a managerExtensive food and beverage knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staffFamiliarity with restaurant management software, like 7 Shifts, ADP and Resy.Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
