We're committed to giving back to the community and creating a positive work environment The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the entire supply chain process to ensure the efficient and effective movement of goods and services from suppliers to customers. This role involves managing production planning, inventory control, procurement, vendor relationships, and logistics to enhance overall operational efficiency and meet organizational goals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, analytical skills, and a strategic approach to supply chain management. Key Responsibilities: Supply Chain Strategy and Management: Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize procurement, production, inventory, and distribution processes. Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and ensure alignment with company objectives. Production Planning and Inventory Control: Oversee production planning, scheduling, and inventory management to meet production targets and customer demands. Ensure accurate forecasting and inventory levels to minimize stockouts and excess inventory. Procurement and Vendor Management: Manage procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing raw materials and supplies. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring a reliable supply of goods and services at competitive prices. Logistics and Distribution: Coordinate logistics and distribution activities to ensure timely delivery of products to customers. Optimize transportation routes and warehouse operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze supply chain data to forecast demand, predict inventory needs, and make data-driven decisions. Prepare and present reports on supply chain performance, including key metrics and recommendations for improvements. Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards in all supply chain activities. Implement and adhere to best practices and industry standards to maintain high operational standards. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members. Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase value. Drive kaizen initiatives and promote a culture of continuous improvement within the supply chain team. Experience and Education: Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in supply chain management or a related field, including proven experience in procurement, inventory management, and logistics with at least 2 years of supervisory/managerial experience. Competencies/ Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage relationships with vendors, customers, and team members. Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities. Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools Advanced experience in MS Excel.
