Your precision and attention to detail will support a secure and efficient screening process.ResponsibilitiesInspect bags and items using x-ray screening equipmentAnalyze images and determine if additional inspection is requiredCommunicate findings and concerns to appropriate personnel and supervisorsIdentify and respond to suspicious items or alarm triggersRecord incidents and observations with accuracy and professionalismMaintain alertness and situational awareness at all timesEnsure compliance with safety and security protocolsQualificationsValid New York State Security Guard LicenseHigh School Diploma or GEDMilitary and/or Law Enforcement experienced requiredPrior professional experience in a security or screening roleStrong attention to detail, focus, and consistent work ethicExcellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a teamProfessional demeanor and appearanceAuthorized to legally work in the United StatesSuccessful completion of a drug test with negative resultsComfortable using screening software and equipmentMust pass an extensive background check (including criminal history, references, employment and education verification, and DMV/credit checks if applicable)If prior military, must provide a DD214 discharge document with status upon job offerMust meet any licensing requirements mandated by state or local regulationsPhysical RequirementsWork is typically performed in a secure indoor environmentMay involve standing for extended periods, light lifting, bending, and stretchingUse of computers, scanners, and other screening equipment requiredMust be able to focus for extended periods in a structured, procedural environmentReasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilitiesRequired SkillsMilitary service, particularly in a security or combat role (e.g., Military Police, Elite Forces)Completion of a public safety or law enforcement academyDegree in criminal justice, public safety, or related field8+ years of service in any U.S. military branchPrior work in law enforcement, corrections, or emergency servicesPay range and compensation packagePay Rate: $25.00/hourEqual Opportunity StatementWe are committed to diversity and inclusivity.
