Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to oversee daily operations at our retail location. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of retail management. This role involves managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining inventory control, and driving sales growth to meet business objectives. The Store Manager will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment, supervising team members, and implementing strategies to enhance store performance.ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise store staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performanceOversee daily store operations to ensure smooth functioning and adherence to company policiesManage inventory levels through effective stock control, purchasing, and merchandising strategiesImplement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and improve overall store profitabilityHandle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure high levels of customer satisfactionMonitor cash handling procedures, POS transactions, and cashiering activities for accuracy and securityCoordinate marketing efforts to promote products and increase foot trafficConduct employee orientation, training & development sessions to foster a motivated team environmentManage scheduling shifts efficiently to ensure adequate coverage during peak hoursMaintain organized bookkeeping records, payroll processing, and budget managementUtilize organizational skills for inventory management, pricing adjustments, and stock replenishmentEnsure compliance with health & safety standards and company policiesExperienceProven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervisory responsibilitiesStrong background in retail sales, inventory management, merchandising, and POS systemsDemonstrated leadership skills with experience in team management and employee developmentFamiliarity with retail math, budgeting, cash handling procedures, and sales management techniquesExcellent communication skills in multiple languages preferred; bilingual abilities are a plusExperience with recruiting, interviewing potential employees, and conducting employee orientation sessionsKnowledge of marketing strategies and wireless sales is advantageousPrior assistant manager or supervisory experience is highly desirableAbility to manage multiple tasks efficiently with strong organizational skills and time management capabilities
