Production Expeditor

SummaryThe Production Control Expeditor is responsible for scheduling the production floor based upon the master schedule, material availability, and capacity. The Production Control Expeditor will maximize throughput by scheduling work as efficiently as possible in each department. They will work closely with the production team to make sure our throughput and on-time delivery goals are met. Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesRelease Production Orders to the shop floor - ensuring information in ERP system matches the Contract Review ChecklistSchedule work at various departments, taking into account customer needs, capacity, material and tooling availability, and setup efficiencyProvide status on open order reports as requested by sales team/customersProcess Change OrdersEnsure accuracy of ship dates in ERP systemReview actual throughput against expected throughput on CPAs to identify production issuesCommunicate any constraints and quality concerns to management teamOther duties as assigned by manager (may include being a backup in other areas such as Shipping & Receiving)Job QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDMinimum of 3 years manufacturing experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMust have ERP & Microsoft Excel ExperienceMust be detail oriented and able to multi-task
