Property Accountant

A growing commercial real estate organization in the Malvern area is seeking a Property Accountant to join their accounting team due to an internal restructuring and expansion of the department. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys owning the full accounting cycle and working in a collaborative, hands-on environment.Responsibilities:Manage full cycle property accounting for a portfolio of commercial propertiesPrepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedulesPerform CAM reconciliations and tenant billingsReview lease structures and lease assessmentsHandle account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activitiesPartner directly with tenants and internal stakeholders regarding accounting inquiriesSupport budgeting, reporting, and other ad hoc accounting projectsQualifications:3-5+ years of property accounting experience requiredFull cycle property accounting experience is a mustStrong understanding of CAM reconciliations and lease structuresAdvanced Excel skillsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferredExperience in smaller or mid-sized organizations is highly preferred due to broader exposure and ownership of responsibilitiesAdditional Details:Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMBonus eligibilityStrong benefits package including medical coverage and PTOCollaborative accounting team with strong leadership support
