Outside the organization: Establish and maintain productive working relationships with third party vendors, as necessary.Position Responsibilities Assist with client intake upon admission Obtain Breathalyzer and UDS on intake and as per protocol for client monitoring Assist with body and clothing search Provide basic client care assisting with Activities of daily living, when necessary, Monitor and communicate any change in client condition to nursing staff Support the emotional needs of clients throughout treatment Locate detox clients for provider appointments and regular assessments every four hours and as needed Obtain vital signs every four hours and as needed for documentation and report findings Obtain client weight Complete detox accountability and provide support as per protocol throughout shift when needed Administer oral medication and intradermal/subcutaneous/intramuscular injections within their scope of practice Perform blood glucose testing (FSBS) Perform Venipuncture Procedure Provide Client education Perform Wound Care Assist with keeping rooms clean and tidy and packing belongings for step down or discharge Assist with cleaning rooms and bathrooms upon client transfer New client engagement Pre-Certification callsMinimum Requirements Current Medical Assistant Certification High School diploma or equivalent Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Excellent attendance Ability to multitask CPR certified Positive AttitudePhysical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to communicate with peers/general public, clients and/or vendors Tolerant to various noise levels: noise level in the work environment varies - may be very quiet to moderate Job performance will require the ability to move throughout the building as well as sit or remain stationary for extended periods of time While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to talk or hear, sit, stand, walk, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch Skill Competencies Effective Communication Excellent Customer Service Teamwork Consistency Adaptability Continual Learning & ImprovementSTR Silver Pines provides equal employment opportunities without regard to race, color, creed, ancestry, national origin, ethnicity, sex, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, religion, age, disability, gender identity, genetic information, service in the military, or any other characteristic protected under applicable federal, state, or local law.
