Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.Active Texas Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.BLS certification required from AHA or ARC prior to patient contact.Outpatient experience required, including evaluation and development of individualized treatment plans and functional outcomes.Experience conducting 60-minute initial evaluations and combined evaluation/treatment sessions typical to outpatient settings.Documentation competency in electronic medical records, including goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with regulatory and payer guidelines.Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy assistants and to participate in student clinical education as assigned.Maintain professional licensure and meet state-mandated continuing education requirements. Demonstrated commitment to patient and employee safety practices, including safe patient handling and infection control procedures.Preferred: Prior experience in a multi-discipline outpatient clinic and familiarity with performance improvement initiatives. Assignment Details Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.Assignment Duration: 13 week assignment.Shift Pattern: 5x8 schedule.Patient Visit Structure: 60-minute evaluations plus treatment sessions as standard.
