Job TitleSenior Air Compliance Support ProfessionalJob TypeFull-timeLocationSalt Lake City, UT 84044 US (Primary)CategoryScience (Environmental)Minimum Education RequiredNot ApplicableCareer LevelExperiencedJob DescriptionJob Summary:Trihydro is seeking an experienced, senior-level professional to support potential projects in the area and assist with compliance oversite and growing business in the area.This full-time position requires approximately 40 hours per week and involves a blend of fostering client relationships, business development, project management, strong communication skills, and problem-solving abilities. If you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, this opportunity is ideal for you.Key Responsibilities:Permitting and Compliance Strategy, lead development, review, and submission of air permits (Title V, minor source, NSR, NESHAP, NSPS).Emissions and Reporting, perform and oversee emissions calculations and inventories (including greenhouse gases), ensuring accurate and timely submission of compliance reports to regulatory bodies.Data Analysis & Modeling, run and interpret air dispersion models (such as AERMOD) to evaluate air quality impacts.Audit and Inspections, conduct on-site inspections and manage audit processes to identify deficiencies, ensure compliance with environmental regulations, and implement corrective actions.Regulatory Liaison, serve as the technical contact with regulatory agencies (EPA, state agencies) to negotiate permits and resolve compliance issues.Mentorship and Leadership, provide technical direction to project teams, mentor junior staff, and review work to ensure accuracy and adherence to quality standards.Project Management, manage projects, including developing budgets, scopes of work and project schedules.Qualifications:10+ years of relevant experience in environmental engineering or compliance.Strong understanding of the Clean Air Act (CAA) and EPA regulations.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with clients, project stakeholders, regulators/agency staff, coworkers, subcontractors, and other project team members.Initiative and motivation to complete project deliverables on schedule and within budget.Experienced client manager with initiative to cultivate long-standing client relationships.An interest in mentoring junior staff.Ability to travel to client locations and other Trihydro offices.What We Offer:Industry-leading 401(k) retirement plan, including a 6% discretionary matchPaid time off, including vacation, flex, sick, paid family medical leave, and holiday payComprehensive health insurance program (medical, dental, vision, and prescription)Opportunities for professional development and career growthA collaborative and inclusive work environmentMentoring and opportunities for professional advancementBest-in-class safety cultureThis position will remain open until a qualified candidate has been selected.Trihydro is an Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action employer.
