Cert Surgery Assist-Orthopedics

Under the direction of the surgeon and the Nursing Supervisor and Practice Manager, the assistant performs primary office management duties in completion of request forms for x-ray and laboratory procedures; maintains condition of exam rooms and offices in area, assists patient in all aspects of their care; assists surgeon, as instructed in surgery procedures, under the supervision of the provider.Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures Required:Associates or Vocational degree from an accredited Surgical Assist program. BCLS required. CSA certification required. EXPERIENCE: One year experience as medical assistant and one year experience as a CSA preferred.
