Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring **Pharmacists** in Macon, Georgia. This role is in person / on site. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration: **Type:** Four-month contract, possibility for extension or fulltime offer **Shift** **:** Flex schedule with **alternating weeks of day and evening shifts** + **Day Shift:** 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM + **Evening Shift:** 3:00 PM - Closing (approximately 11:30 PM-12:00 AM) + **Every other weekend & rotating holidays** + Occasional **12:00 PM - 8:30 PM** shifts depending on staffing **Pay:** $55.00 - $60.00 an hour **Responsibilities of the Pharmacist Include:** + Execute daily pharmacy operations in accordance with workflow demands, production quotas, and turnaround deadlines. + Ensure full compliance with all **local, state, and federal pharmacy regulations** , including DEA rules and internal policies. + Support adherence to **third-party payer** rules and contractual requirements. + Supervise pharmacy production staff to ensure proper order entry, efficient workflow, and security of the pharmacy. + Verify completeness and accuracy of **all new and refill prescriptions** , labels, packaging, and product contents. + Oversee or prepare **sterile IV medications** , solutions, and other compounded products as applicable. + Assist with ordering, receiving, handling, and documenting **controlled substances** ; maintain perpetual inventory of Schedule II medications. + Provide **evening, weekend, and holiday coverage** through on-call rotation or scheduled shifts. + Ensure the **workflow dashboard is cleared daily** and operational tasks are completed. + Comply with HIPAA and all other applicable government regulations. + Adhere to departmental policies regarding **safety, attendance, and dress code** . + Perform other duties as assigned. **Core Competencies** + Strong attention to detail + Effective collaboration and teamwork + Clear and professional communication + Solid decision-making and problem-solving skills + High level of discretion and integrity + Reliability and consistent follow-through + Ability to manage performance and support staff + Technical proficiency with pharmacy systems and equipment **Requirements of the Pharmacist Include:** - Pharmacist license in good standing in the State of Georgia - High School Diploma or GED **Physical Demands:** The physical demands described here are representative of those that should be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job: - May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day - The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, walk, crawl intermittently - May be necessary to work extended hours as needed - May lift and/or move up to 25 pounds **Why work for Adecco?** Weekly Pay on Friday 401(k) Plan Skills Training Excellent medical, dental, and vision benefits **IMPORTANT:** This **Pharmacist** job is being recruited for by Adecco's Healthcare & Life Sciences division, not your local Adecco Branch Office.
