Industrial Maintenance TechnicianJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role ensures equipment uptime, supports safe and efficient production, and contributes to continuous improvement efforts.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance, routine troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing equipment, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and instrumentation systems.Diagnose equipment issues using problem-solving techniques and collaborate with machine operators and maintenance team members to identify root causes.Work independently or as part of a team to complete equipment repairs, breakdown support, and maintenance projects.Provide timely updates to supervisors when issues require escalation or may impact repair timelines or equipment startup.Maintain a clean, organized parts room; monitor inventory levels and coordinate part ordering with engineers and maintenance leadership.Follow company policies and safety procedures; maintain consistent attendance and support overtime, holiday, and plant-shutdown schedules as municate effectively with engineers, contractors, and cross-functional departments; use Microsoft Excel and Word for reporting and documentation.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, manuals, and engineering specifications to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.Utilize understanding of AC/DC electrical systems, manufacturing power distribution, and industrial controls to troubleshoot plete work orders, logs, and administrative tasks accurately and in a timely manner.Safely operate forklifts, scissor lifts, overhead cranes, and related industrial equipment.Perform additional maintenance and production-support duties as assigned.Work Environment & Physical RequirementsAbility to work in a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, switching between day and night shift every 28 days.Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, squatting, climbing, gripping, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and working above or underneath equipment.Ability to lift and move 25-50 lbs regularly, and occasionally more than 50 lbs with assistance.Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.Preferred QualificationsTwo-year degree in Industrial Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment.Experience with PLC troubleshooting/programming (Allen-Bradley or Mitsubishi preferred).Experience with HVAC systems, industrial automation, or other advanced maintenance technologies is a plus.Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on repair skills.Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: One locationWork Remotely: N/ABenefits:Health insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceLife InsuranceVoluntary Life InsuranceDisability Insurance Employee Assistant Program (EAP)Voluntary Accident InsuranceVoluntary Cancer Insurance401(k)401(k) matchingPaid time off (PTO)Discount Tire Program The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individual(s) assigned to this position.   They are not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties and skills required of personnel so classified.  Individuals in this position may be assigned to other duties related or unrelated to this position.Kumho Tire Georgia (KTG) provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
