To learn more, visit or follow @newmark.We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team, responsible for conducting, reviewing, and reporting on property inspections across various property types. In this role, you will support our Asset Management and Underwriting teams by working closely with borrowers to address deferred maintenance, identify potential problem areas and review repair solutions for any deficienciesThis position requires up to 80% travel within the United States.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform Property Inspections.Performs quality control checks and data entry on incoming inspections reports to ensure compliance with investor and company requirements.Manages inspection process from initiation to completion.Works closely with Underwriting staff supporting required best practices requirementsResolves scheduling and contact issues with the vendors as they arise.Assist with the distribution of inspection reports to Investors, Trustees, Borrowers, Master Servicers and other parties.Monitors vendor issues.Sends deferred maintenance letters and responds to the borrowers as needed.Special projects and additional tasks as assigned.Core CompetenciesAbility to problem-solve and exercise independent judgement while displaying a high degree of initiative and accuracy.Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize projects and complete multiple tasks on schedule.Ability to work productively under minimal supervision in a deadline-driven environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially EXCEL and Word.Strong work ethic.Proactive team player able to work efficiently under stressful conditions.Ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels across the organization.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Real Estate, or other related fields preferredPreferred certified Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Inspector MBA (Mortgage Bankers Association) Inspection Certificate preferred Able to travel minimum of 80%Working Conditions: Normal working conditions with the absence of disagreeable elements.Note: The statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required of personnel so classified.Newmark is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
