Machine Operator - 3rd Shift

Job Position: Machine Operator - 3rd Shift Location: Lowell, MI 49331 Pay Rate: $18.50/hr Shift: Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of machinery to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency with advanced manufacturing equipment, and a commitment to maintaining precision standards. Duties • Operate and monitor various machinery including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and other machinery to ensure optimal production output. • Use blueprint or schematic plans to perform adjustments to meet specifications. • Conduct routine inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools to verify dimensions and tolerances. • Maintain accurate documentation of machine operations, production counts, and quality checks. • Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime. • Follow safety protocols rigorously and ensure all operations comply with factory standards and • Experience • Proven experience operating CNC machines and other manufacturing equipment in a factory setting. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical drawings. • Hands-on experience with setups and troubleshooting CNC equipment. • Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to machining processes. • Understanding of quality control standards and the use of precision measuring instruments like micrometers and calipers. • We welcome applicants who are eager to develop their skills further while contributing to our company's success through dedication, technical expertise, and teamwork. • Hours: 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Sunday-Thursday $18.50 to start
