Armed Security - Part -Time

Overview: As an armed security guard, I will uphold safety and security protocols, safeguard personnel, property, and assets within the designated premises, and maintain a vigilant and proactive stance against potential threats and hazards. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Provide access control. Foot patrol Alarm monitoring-assessing Report writing Protecting government personnel and property Perform other duties as directed. Qualifications: Three years of security experience High school or equivalent (Required) Have obtained an associate degree. Armed Forces, National Guard, or Reserve service Completion of a Law Enforcement Training Academy Additional Requirements: At least 21 Years of age Must be a US Citizen Clean credit and criminal history Able to pass a physical exam / Drug screen / and a federal background investigation. Speak and be literate in English to the extent of writing, reading, and understanding printed regulations, orders, instructions, etc. Driver's License (Required) Handgun permit (Required) Guards must complete firearms, pepper spray, and expandable baton qualifications. Guards must be trained and current in CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications. Must be proficient with semi-auto handguns.
