They foster a collaborative, inclusive workplace that values professional growth, accountability, and innovation.Job Description:The Assistant Property Manager will oversee a portfolio of residential units while also supporting a broader property management team with operational needs and special initiatives. This role offers a strong mix of independent responsibility and mentorship.Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily operations for an assigned portfolio of residential units, including leasing activity, rent collection, and coordination of maintenance needsAct as a primary contact for residents, addressing questions, concerns, and service requests in a timely and professional mannerMonitor property performance metrics such as occupancy, renewals, and collections, ensuring goals are consistently metConduct regular property walkthroughs and inspections to maintain standards and complianceEnsure adherence to lease agreements, housing regulations, and fair housing guidelinesMaintain accurate and organized tenant and property records, both digital and physicalProvide coverage and assistance to Property Managers during high-volume periods or absencesSupport departmental initiatives such as process improvements, reporting, and special projectsAssist with administrative tasks including audits, reporting, and system updatesCollaborate with internal teams and external partners to support overall property operationsQualifications:Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesComfortable working both independently and as part of a teamEffective communication skills with a customer-service-oriented approachAbility to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and sound judgmentProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general comfort with technologyWillingness to learn and grow within the property management fieldAdditional Details:Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMWork Environment: Fully onsite (split between multiple property locations and main office)Employment Type: Direct hireAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
