We are seeking a dedicated Lead Project Manager to take charge of our Commercial Construction projects and ensure their successful execution. Key Responsibilities: Work closely with Estimating during the Preconstruction phase to ensure precision in project planning. Interpret and analyze Construction Plans and Specifications effectively. Provide mentorship to junior Project Management staff, guiding them in the essential tasks required for effective project management. Cultivate long-term relationships with Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Subcontractors to identify and secure new project opportunities. Manage Subcontractor and Vendor procurement, overseeing buyouts, scope reviews, contract writing, and insurance/bonding evaluations. Investigate and recommend solutions for any issues related to drawing interpretation, conflicts, or errors. Manage a team to ensure efficient processing of Submittals, RFIs, Change Orders, Owner Billings, Time Sheets, and Subcontractor/Vendor Billings. Ensure prompt and accurate preparation of Owner Billings by verifying work-in-place quantities and reviewing Subcontractor and Supplier billings. Monitor monthly cost projections and oversee their accuracy to forecast total estimated costs upon project completion. Develop and manage Project Schedules, including regular progress updates. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications or equivalent experience will be considered. A minimum of 5 years experience managing commercial and light industrial projects. Comprehensive knowledge of building systems and construction methods. Strong financial management capabilities to oversee all project aspects from initiation to completion independently.
