Clinical Solutions Lead - Oncology Information TechnologyJob Description:On behalf of our Healthcare client, Affinity is seeking a Clinical Solutions Lead - Oncology to lead solution design for Oncology workflows within an Oracle Health (Cerner) environment. This role requires deep expertise in cancer care delivery and the ability to design highly specialized clinical workflows.Responsibilities• Lead clinical design workshops with oncologists, nurses, and operational stakeholders • Own end-to-end workflow design and solution decisions for the domain • Translate clinical and operational requirements into system design and configuration direction • Drive stakeholder alignment and decision-making across specialized clinical teams • Ensure adherence to Oracle Health (Cerner) methodologies and iterative design cycles • Partner with build/configuration teams to ensure accurate implementation • Identify risks, gaps, and optimization opportunities within workflows • Act as the primary accountable lead for the assigned clinical domain Domain-Specific Focus (Oncology)• Design workflows supporting oncology treatment plans, chemotherapy protocols, and longitudinal care • Configure and optimize medication management, safety checks, and infusion workflows • Ensure integration with pharmacy, lab, and radiology systems • Support compliance with oncology-specific safety standards and protocols • Enable tracking of patient journeys across diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care Qualifications• 5+ years of Oracle Health / Cerner implementation experience • Experience leading solution design across at least 2 full EHR/HIS/CIS implementations • Experience supporting Oncology workflows (e.g., chemotherapy, infusion, treatment planning) • Strong understanding of clinical safety requirements in oncology care • Proven ability to lead complex design discussions with specialized clinical teams • Strong communication and facilitation skills Location• Remote with travel (approximately 1 week per month onsite) • Full-time (1.0 FTE) Affinity Earn:Know someone who's great for this, or any of our open roles?
